
Grazia Doronzio – Susanna
Italian soprano Grazia Doronzio is a recent graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s
prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.
The 2013-2014 season sees her return to Oper Frankfurt as Mimì in La Bohème,
Nannetta in Falstaff followed by her house debut as Pamina inDie
Zauberflöte with the Hamburgische Staatsoper. Last season, Ms. Doronzio
returned to Michigan Opera Theater for Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro,
followed by an important debut with Oper Frankfurt as Suzel in L’amico Frtiz.
In the spring of 2012 she performed Mimì in La Bohème with Angers Nantes
Opéra, Anna in a concert performance of Puccini’s Le Villi at the
Konzerthaus, Dortmund, Liù in Turandot with Seattle Opera (debut) and
followed by Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at the Palau de les Arts in
Valencia. Mrs Doronzio has recently gained great success as Mimì in La Bohème at
the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto, ad Adina in L'Elisir d'Amore at
the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and as Zerlina in Don Giovanni in
Milwaukee.
Plans include: Medea in
Geneva; Bohème with the German Radio Symphony Orchestra in Saarbrücken.

Fabrizio Beggi – Bartolo
Mr. Beggi
started his career in 2011 attending the Ensemble Opera Studio at the Teatro
Carlo Felice in Genoa, where he made his debut in Donizetti’s Il Campanello (Don
Annibale Pistacchio), then he performed in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Marco
e Maestro Spinelloccio) and in Roméo et Juliette (Le Duc) under Fabio
Luisi.
Fabrizio Beggi won the Toti Dal Monte prize in 2012, which led him to make his
debut in Cimarosa’s Matrimonio Segreto in Treviso, Ferrara and Rovigo.
Mr.
Beggi recently sang Rigoletto in Savona, Battistelli’s Matrimonio
all’Italiana at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, La Cenerentola (Alidoro)
in Ferrara and Treviso.
Mr. Beggi regularly collaborates with the Teatro Regio in Turin, where in the
past seasons he starred in Andrea Chénier, Don Carlo and more
recently in Simon Boccanegra, Rigoletto, Gianni Schicchi, Un
Ballo in Maschera on tour in Japan and Guillaume Tell (Melchtal),
then on tour at the Edinburgh Festival and in Canada.
Recently he
performed I Capuleti e I Montecchi at the Reate Festival under
Fabio Biondi, Tosca in Jesi and Fermo and Un Ballo in Maschera at
the Comunale in Bologna, Mariotti conducting.
Future plans include Handel’s Imeneo at the Handel Festival in Halle with
Fabio Biondi and Europa Galante, I Capuleti e I Montecchi in Warsaw,
La Bohème in Brescia and on tour in Italy.
Mr. Beggi will return to the Teatro Regio in Turin singing I Puritani.
